The Consul General of Canada to New York was in Plattsburgh earlier this month. Hosted by the North Country Chamber, Tom Clark visited Canadian-owned businesses and manufacturers and promoted the region’s cross-border relations. But lately when people think of Canada only one word comes to mind: wildfires.
