U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken just met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping as the two nations work to patch up their damaged relationship. The high-profile meeting was months in the making and both sides say much work remains amid mutual suspicion and rivalry. Blinken is now turning his attention to the war in Ukraine, announcing a new aid package — at the same time China pledged not to supply arms to Russia.
