County budgets across America have taken a $202 billion dollar hit from the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey by The National Association Of Counties. The survey found local governments are cutting services, delaying infrastructure projects and laying off workers. The organization is pushing for federal relief for localities in the next COVID stimulus bill. We speak with Teryn Zmuda, the National Association of Counties’ Chief Economist.
