This week on The Book Show, Amity Gaige discusses her book, Sea Wife. A transporting novel about marriage, family and love in a time of turmoil.
Sea Wife is about a young family who takes a yearlong sailing trip, which alters their lives. Gaige writes with dual perspectives: Juliet’s first-person narration, and Michael’s captain’s log, which provides a riveting, slow-motion account of the same events.
Gaige is the author of Schroder, O My Darling and The Folded World.
