The Institute for Disaster Mental Health at the State University of New York at New Paltz has put out a Psychological First Aid & Stress Management toolkit. The strategies are to help faculty, staff, students and others during the COVID-19 pandemic. I spoke with the director of the Institute, Dr. Amy Nitza. She says the toolkit, which appears as a 60-page PowerPoint presentation, is also in Spanish, with other languages to come. Just a warning that some listeners may find the discussion at the end of this interview about dying alone upsetting.
