Today on the Best of Our Knowledge, we’ll talk about the trend towards hyper-education. We speak with Dr. Pawan Dhingra about his book called Hyper Education – Why Good Schools, Good Grades, and Good Behavior Are Not Enough.

Pawan Dhingra is a sociologist and a professor of American Studies at Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts. We spoke about why he took on education in overdrive.

A growing number of Democrats in the New York State Legislature are calling on embattled Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign, with allegations of sexual harassment on the third-term Democrat’s part now under investigation. Capital Region Assemblyman Phil Steck, a Democrat from the 110th district, was one of the first to call on Cuomo to go . But Steck says it’s not just about the allegations.
